CM Punk was all business on WWE RAW this week with Hell in a Cell against Drew McIntyre in mind. The Second City Saint produced one of his best promos since returning to the company in November 2023. There were also subtle hints at a potential change he'll make at Bad Blood in two weeks' time.

The Best in the World could bring back his iconic former WWE theme song This Fire (also known as This Fire Burns). The last time he used the theme song was at Money in the Bank in 2011, when he left the promotion with the WWE Championship after beating John Cena.

CM Punk spoke honestly about his wife and sisters urging him to call his match off with Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood. He admitted he had no Hell in a Cell match left in him but that he was going to fight on.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

The Chicago hero's words were very similar to those of the lyrics in Killswitch Engage's This Fire. The metalcore band from Massachusetts sings, "I will not be denied in this final hour" and "This fire burns always."

The 45-year-old has used Living Color's Cult of Personality since returning with the WWE Championship weeks after Money in the Bank 2011. He also used the theme in AEW but opted to use his ROH song Miseria Cantare by AFI for a Dog Collar Match against arch-rival MJF.

"That's the CM Punk I want" - Drew McIntyre reacts to Punk's fiery WWE RAW promo

Drew McIntyre was a keen viewer of CM Punk's promo that opened up WWE RAW with a hailstorm of promises directed at the Scottish Warrior. He promised to take the Scot to hell when they collide at Bad Blood.

The former two-time World Champion responded to Punk's WWE RAW comments with a vow. He wrote on X/Twitter:

"That's the CM Punk I want."

Drew McIntyre's issues with Punk stem from the latter costing him the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL. In February, the WWE RAW star injured the Straight Edge Savior in his return match in the men's Royal Rumble.

The pair have been at war for close to a year, and it's become extremely personal. McIntyre snapped Punk's bracelet, which has the names of his wife, AJ Lee, and dog, Larry, on it.

Punk and McIntyre are tied at 1-1 in their feud, with the latter winning a singles match at SummerSlam with Seth Rollins as special guest referee. The former won their Strap Match at Bash in Berlin.
