CM Punk survived a brutal match against Seth Rollins in the main event of the RAW premiere on Netflix, but his rivalry with The Visionary is far from over. After the match, The Best in the World entered himself into the Royal Rumble. He also seemingly has his sights set on World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
CM Punk wants a title match at WrestleMania 41, seeking what he has yet to accomplish in his WWE career, which is to main event 'Mania.
Now, it appears that he wants to do so by winning the Royal Rumble and getting a title shot at The Grandest Stage of Them All. Even if that happens, Seth Rollins could interfere at some point down the road, setting the stage for part two of his rivalry with the former WWE Champion.
On that occasion, RAW GM Adam Pearce could set a Punk vs Rollins match for Night 1 at WrestleMania 41, with a stipulation that if The Visionary won, he would be added to the title match against Gunther in Night 2.

That way, WWE creative would ensure that the rivalry between Punk and Rollins would continue without the former losing his title shot at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
It would also ensure that Punk would then go on to main event WrestleMania, a dream that The Second City Saint has yet to fulfill in his cherished career.
CM Punk explains why he wants to main event WrestleMania
CM Punk has accomplished a lot in his wrestling career but has yet to main event WrestleMania. He wanted to do so last year, but a triceps injury ruled him out for nearly six months, costing him a match at 'Mania.
This year, CM Punk is expected to be among the WWE stars that will headline WrestleMania 41 and during the post-RAW press conference on Monday, he explained why he wanted to main event The Show of Shows.
"A lot of other people think that maybe I need to main event WrestleMania to, I don't know, solidify anything I've ever done. Like I could've never come back here and I would've had a Hall of Fame career, right? So to me, yeah that opportunity arises, I'm not shying away from it because it scares the hell out of me frankly," Punk said. [h/t WrestlingInc.com]
