CM Punk and Roman Reigns' unlikely alliance this weekend for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames was successful. However, it looks like their paths will cross again in the coming months due to Paul Heyman.
Paul Heyman returned a few weeks ago on WWE SmackDown and along with him was CM Punk, the fifth member of the OG Bloodline. The night before Survivor Series, the Chicago star noted that it wasn't Roman Reigns who owed him a favor, but Paul Heyman. The unlikely allies defeated the New Bloodline despite initial setbacks at the event. After the match, the RAW star reminded The Wiseman that he owed him and that he would come and ask for a favor if he needed one. Interestingly, this may mean that the Hall of Famer will be tasked with playing dual roles.
Punk could visit SmackDown again in a couple of months and ask for that favor from Paul, which would see Heyman become his manager again, temporarily. This could be due to a big match, possibly at WrestleMania against Seth Rollins, and The Voice of the Voiceless needing further support and strategy on his side.

While it may seem like a simple favor, this may put Roman in an uncomfortable position knowing that his Wiseman was sharing knowledge and support with other superstars as well, especially with someone like Punk. However, since Reigns has to honor that favor, he may have no choice but to allow Heyman to do it. This means the Hall of Famer will likely be Punk's manager on the Monday show while remaining with the OG Bloodline on the Friday show.
Does wrestling analyst think CM Punk's favor will be connected with Roman Reigns?
There is much speculation among fans as to what the favor can be. While some think this has nothing to do with The Original Tribal Chief, some think it will involve Roman in some way. Wrestling analyst Sam Roberts falls in the second category.
On a recent edition of the Notsam Wrestling podcast, the wrestling analyst speculated that fans may not hear about the favor for a while. However, this might be brought up again when Roman potentially becomes champion again, wherein CM Punk might demand to be the first in line to challenge him for the gold.
"My wild speculation is, we won't hear about this [favor] for some time. It is a secret. I feel like it has to be, when Roman Reigns gets the WWE Championship back, Punk is first in line."
It remains to be seen what will happen next between CM Punk and Roman Reigns.
