CM Punk and Seth Rollins have been engaged in a heated rivalry against each other for a while now. They are booked to clash horns tonight on RAW’s premiere on the streaming giant, Netflix. The arch-rivals were initially scheduled to face each other last year at WrestleMania XL.
However, Triple H had to alter plans soon after Punk sustained a real-life injury while competing at the 2024 Royal Rumble. Fans are eagerly awaiting this bout and some sources have reported that this Punk and Rollins match is most likely to main event the show.
To make things even bigger and better, in a last-minute change, the Stamford-based promotion could announce a massive stipulation for CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins bout that the winner of the match would get a direct shot at Gunther’s World Heavyweight Championship at Royal Rumble 2025 which is merely a month from now.

Adding this stipulation would help maintain the prestige of the World Heavyweight Title as there is no match on the card featuring the champion on tonight’s RAW. Also, The Ring General has been reigning on the red brand since SummerSlam and constantly feuding against Damian Priest. He needs some other main event-level competition to cement his title reign in legacy books.
That said, the angle is speculative at this point and fans will have to wait and see what happens tonight on RAW.
CM Punk took shots at the WWE legend during his promo on Monday Night RAW
Last week on Monday Night RAW, CM Punk and Seth Rollins were engaged in an intense verbal clash, where, at some point, spectators felt that both superstars crossed some lines that weren't meant to be crossed.
While firing some verbal insults at Seth Rollins, CM Punk took WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin’s name and took shots at him as well. The Straight Edge Superstar mentioned Steve, asking if The Rattlesnake took his ball and went home similarly in the past.
With all the speculations and possibilities around, Punk vs. Seth Rollins is going to be a chartbuster and it will be interesting to witness what plans Triple H-led creative has in store for this saga shortly.
