WWE Superstar CM Punk in a recent interview talks about his post pipe bomb experience, his Wrestlemania match against The Undertaker and which non WWE wrestler he would like to square off against.

Daniel Bryan‘s success since his pipe bomb: “The first thing that popped into my head was when [American] Dragon (Daniel Bryan’s old moniker) won the title, I think he won it in Philly, and I was still champion and we passed each other in the hallway carrying the titles and it was just like, regardless of what anybody says about how I’m skinny fat and he’s short and he’s weird because he doesn’t eat meat and I’m strange because I don’t smoke weed. We don’t belong wherever we are and we’re not a typical Vince McMahon this and that, regardless of whatever, that’s just a hell of a memory for me. I grabbed him and I was like you want to take and he finished my sentence, take a picture. It was just a cool moment. Two dudes who’ve known each other over a decade, wrestling in rodeos on s*** covered floors in front of 12 people just because that’s what we wanted to do. It was a cool moment.”

Which non-WWE star he’d like to face: “Samoa Joe.”

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Favourite place he’s wrestled: “Hands down, easily Ring of Honour. Something gelled within that place late 2004 to 2005, beyond after I split, that place was pretty magic. You could try to argue with me, but I would argue that that was the most amazing wrestling roster that anybody’s ever seen in over 20 years, excluding myself. I wouldn’t throw myself in there. They had like Colt Cabana, Samoa Joe, Homicide,Low Ki, Austin Aries, American Dragon, everyone else that came in and out of there, Alex Shelley, Delirious, Nigel McGuinness, Chris Hero, everybody. It was just absolutely staggering. When you look back I think history’s going to speak kindly of it, especially those years because you look at the people that came out of there and what they’re doing now and it’s pretty mind blowing.”

His greatest fear: “I would probably say something like letting down my sisters or the people who look to me to be that guy who doesn’t let down.”

His Wrestlemania match with Undertaker: “Main eventing Wrestlemania, especially after last year’s Wrestlemania, I used to kind of be obsessed about it. Not so much anymore. I had a lot of hilarious conversations with raised voices and everything with certain people in the company and I finally proved it to the one person that mattered that I should have went on last and that was me. So, I don’t really give a s*** about anything else. Basically what I’m trying to say is that if it never happens it isn’t because of me. I know that now. It’s one of those things that I kind of got laid to rest.”
