In the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Cody Rhodes made a massive announcement by declaring Solo Sikoa as his SummerSlam 2024 opponent. However, The American Nightmare also mentioned that the match is yet to be officially confirmed by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, sparking the possibility of a significant change to this high-profile match.

After the conclusion of the latest episode of the blue brand, Rhodes might demand adding a stipulation to his potential SummerSlam match by banning The Bloodline from ringside. This is due to the continuous numbers advantage the heel faction has in their matches. Additionally, on SmackDown, The Bloodline viciously attacked Randy Orton by overpowering him while tying Cody to the ring ropes.

With the current Undisputed WWE Champion not having his former mentor on his side, he will surely face a numbers disadvantage at The Biggest Party of the Summer. This could also jeopardize his title reign, heightening the chances of him losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief.

So, it would be prudent for Cody Rhodes to have a conversation with Nick Aldis next week and get his match confirmed for SummerSlam 2024. This stipulation could also be added if WWE decides to have a contract signing segment, which they usually do before any major title defense at a premium live event.

What could be the outcome of WWE SummerSlam 2024 if Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa gets a stipulation?

If the above situation materializes and the match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa includes a stipulation, the potential outcome of SummerSlam 2024 could witness no title change. Likely, the Stamford-based promotion will not crown a new Undisputed WWE Champion at The Biggest Party of the Summer, as Cody Rhodes' title reign is expected to last a bit longer.

Cody could also retain his title primarily due to the anticipated return of Roman Reigns, which is expected to take place at this premium live event. The Head of the Table could arrive on the scene and take out Solo Sikoa in response to the latter's actions during Reigns' absence from the company.

In another scenario, if the referee is taken down during the match, it would not be surprising if Solo's Bloodline stablemates arrive despite being banned from ringside. At that moment, Roman Reigns could return, take them out, and eventually aid Cody Rhodes in retaining his Undisputed WWE Championship, despite the history between these two.

This angle may ultimately separate Rhodes from The Bloodline Saga and potentially result in a Bloodline Civil War between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
