Cody Rhodes 'fired' after loss to Randy Orton

In what can be described as an unexpected turn of events on RAW, WWE superstar Cody Rhodes was fired by C.O.O Triple H after the former’s loss to WWE Champion Randy Orton.

Rhodes was earlier seen backstage talking to Triple H and Randy Orton. He told the C.O.O that Randy Orton vs Daniel Bryan was what was right for business and that Orton was not scared of Bryan.

This got Triple H enraged, who told Cody to not interfere in his decisions, as he knew better. He then scheduled a match between Orton and Rhodes for later that night, with Rhodes’ career on the line.

And, as fate may have it, Rhodes lost the match and was subsequently fired by Triple H. Rhodes has now been moved to the alumni section on the WWE’s official website as well.
