The 2024 WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event will take place this Saturday at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The show will feature a lot of top stars like Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, and Drew McIntyre, but it is possible that some of the announced names may be pulled from the show at the last minute. Things have been chaotic in WWE lately, so any star can be attacked and sidelined at any time.
On that note, let's take a look at eight WWE Superstars who could be replaced at the last minute at Money in the Bank.
#8. & #7. Jey Uso and Chad Gable
Chad Gable was the first victim of The Wyatt Sicks and he will head into the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match with a target on his back. There is a possibility that the group attacks him before or during, given that he already has a target on his back.
Uncle Howdy recently hinted at going after anyone who abandoned their family, so apart from Chad Gable, Jey Uso may be another star who could be targeted by The Wyatt Sicks. He left The Bloodline last year and was also responsible for activating the fireflies before the arrival of Uncle Howdy and his faction.
So, the group possibly attacking him backstage could lead to him missing Money in the Bank.
#6. LA Knight could miss Money in the Bank
LA Knight and Logan Paul have been feuding for the United States Championship over the past month. The Megastar got the upper hand on The Maverick by pinning him on the latest episode of SmackDown to qualify for the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match.
Paul may want revenge for the loss to Knight, so he may attack him on SmackDown this week or at Money in the Bank. This may lead to Knight missing the match on Saturday and it would also allow WWE to set up a title match between them at SummerSlam next month.
#5. IYO SKY
IYO SKY is the only member of Damage CTRL who succeeded in qualifying for the 2024 Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match. Her teammate Dakota Kai disappointed The Genius of the Sky as she lost her qualifier to Zoey Stark.
It is possible that Kai could betray SKY on Saturday as the latter has been calling for a change in Damage CTRL. The call for change may not go down well with Kai, who is the leader of the group.
Kai recently expressed frustration about her booking in WWE. Costing SKY the opportunity to compete at Money in the Bank would give Kai a chance to become a singles star on the main roster as they could have a big feud over the betrayal.
#4. Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre defeated Sheamus and Ilja Dragunov to qualify for the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match. However, he may not be able to make it to the match.
The Scottish Warrior brutalized CM Punk in Chicago over a week ago after The Best in the World cost him the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash at the Castle last month.
Punk may come back for revenge in Canada and attack McIntyre, which could force The Scottish Warrior to pull out of the match. After all, Punk did say that McIntyre will not be able to become World Champion as long as he is alive.
#3. #2. & #1. Cody Rhodes/Randy Orton/Kevin Owens
Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens will team up on Saturday to take on Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga/Tonga Loa in a Six-Man Tag Team match.
The rivalry between the two sides has heated up in recent weeks, so it is possible that The Bloodline will try to take them out ahead of the match. They could do it on SmackDown or at Money in the Bank.
WWE could have the group injure one of the three men from Rhodes' team to set up the return of Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate has been away from the Stamford-based promotion since the summer of 2023. He lives in Canada and could show up to replace Rhodes, Orton, or Owens in the match.
The Bloodline assaulted Paul Heyman last week on SmackDown, so the former Wiseman could bring his old client back to deal with them in Roman Reigns' absence.
