Cody Rhodes is preparing for a tag team match at Bad Blood on October 5. He will team up with Roman Reigns to take on The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
As The American Nightmare continues his storyline with The Bloodline, he will need help to deal with the numbers game. And this help could come from his good friend and mentor, Randy Orton.
The Undisputed WWE Champion could ask The Viper to have his back so he can focus on his match against Solo and Fatu. But, he could betray the 44-year-old, and subsequently Kevin Owens, if he comes to his aid, too, should things don't go the way he wants to.
That way, he might emerge victorious against The Bloodline at Bad Blood, but he would also start a feud with Randy Orton, which could lead to a match between the two sometime in 2025. This is something that WWE has hinted at over the past few months.

Cody Rhodes could reportedly collide with Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel
Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will team up at Bad Blood, but it is unclear if they will manage to co-exist against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. However, this bout could set the stage for the rematch between the two megastars.
According to reports, this match could happen at the next Premium Live Event, Crown Jewel, which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, November 2.
Should it happen that way, it could add more fuel to Reigns' feud with The Bloodline, setting the stage for a match at Survivor Series, where the Original Tribal Chief is reportedly set to appear as well.
As for Cody Rhodes, he is expected to continue his rivalry with The Bloodline, waiting for The Rock's return and a title match against The Final Boss in one of the premium live events in 2025.
