Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns head into this weekend with a lot on their mind. They will be one of the main focuses of Bad Blood, as they will take on The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Now, taking that into consideration, they are severely outnumbered, after all, there are The Tongans to worry about. But, luckily, The American Nightmare might surprise both The OTC and the WWE Universe with some unexpected help.

Now, looking at all the possibilities, one might assume it would be Jimmy Uso. But, in a shocking twist, the unexpected help may come from the new Intercontinental Champion, Jey Uso. This may seem a bit farfetched, but once all the cards are laid out on the table, it makes perfect sense.

For starters, Roman Reigns, at this point in time, after being betrayed and replaced, is looking for family members he can trust. With Jimmy Uso injured, and his Wiseman Paul Heyman still "recuperating", that leaves only one plausible option, Jey Uso. But, perhaps most importantly, the leader of the Yeet Movement is very good friends with Cody Rhodes, and that makes him the perfect candidate to swoop in and make the save.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Given Reigns' history on SmackDown, and what we've seen recently on the blue brand, Cody Rhodes is unlikely to get any help from Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. So, he could turn to Jey Uso, who would be reluctant but isn't one to turn his back on family. That said, this is nothing more than mere speculation. Only time will tell how things unfold.

Cody Rhodes should be worried about Kevin Owens ahead of Bad Blood

Whether Jey Uso helps the duo out or not remains to be seen, but finding help should be the least of Cody Rhodes' concerns. If one thing has been made clear in the last few weeks, it is that The American Nightmare is running the risk of losing any support he had on SmackDown. After all, one of his closest friends, Kevin Owens isn't happy with how things have turned out.

At Bash in Berlin, KO chose his friendship over defeating Cody Rhodes and becoming the Undisputed WWE Champion. He did so by showing leniency throughout the match. Now, he has to see his close friend team up with the man he has been fighting for years on end. That cannot be sitting well with The Prizefighter, and it showed in his demeanor on last week's SmackDown.

All signs point to a possible betrayal at Bad Blood, and Owens could be the one doing the betraying. With that in mind, Rhodes would do well to be wary. After all, by the end of the night, there might be some bad blood between the two of them.
