
Cody Rhodes started his pro wrestling career with the WWE in 2007. He stayed in the company till 2016, when he left. Since then, he has further developed himself in the indies and for promotions like TNA, Ring of Honor Wrestling (ROH), and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he was notable for being part of the Bullet Club. He is also one of the founding members of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and has won championships in the promotion.
The WWE Undisputed Champion finally returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38- Night 1. WrestleMania XXIV
Cody Rhodes appeared on the pre-show of WrestleMania XXIV in a 24-man Interpromotional Battle Royal for the ECW Championship. The match was Cody's first WrestleMania appearance. Former World Champion Kane won the match.
WrestleMania XXVI
At WrestleMania XXVI, Randy Orton faced Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes in a triple-threat match following their split from Legacy. After Rhodes and DiBiase’s alliance unraveled mid-match, Orton gained control, ending the bout with a punt to Cody Rhodes and an RKO to DiBiase for the win.
WrestleMania XXVII
Cody Rhodes faced Rey Mysterio, who entered the match in Captain America attire. After a back-and-forth fight, Cody used Mysterio's knee brace as a weapon and followed with Cross Rhodes to secure the victory. Cody Rhodes scored his first victory at WrestleMania with this win.
