Cody Garrett Runnels Rhodes, or Cody Rhodes has established himself as one of the most popular babyfaces since rejoining the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2022. Nicknamed as “The American Nightmare”, this is his second stint with the company, being the younger half-brother of former WWE wrestler Goldust (Dustin Rhodes). He belongs from Marietta, Georgia, United States.

Cody Rhodes started his pro wrestling career with the WWE in 2007. He stayed in the company till 2016 when he left. Since then, he has further developed himself in the indies and for promotions like TNA, Ring of Honor Wrestling (ROH), New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) where he was notable for being part of the Bullet Club. He is also one of the founding members of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and has won numerous championships along the way.

He finally returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38-Night 1 as a surprise opponent for Seth Rollins and defeated him. Throughout his WWE career so far, Cody Rhodes has won WWE Intercontinental Championship (twice), WWE Raw Tag Team Championship (4 times), WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship, WWE World Tag Team Champion and the Royal Rumble consecutively in 2023 and 2024.

Cody Rhodes is notable for three of his deadly signature moves. The first is Cody Cutter, a springboard cutter, the second is the Beautiful Disaster, which is a disaster kick and the third is the Cross Rhodes, a deadly finisher, which means lights out for opponents.

Cody Rhodes is geared for his 10th and 11th WrestleMania appearances at WrestleMania XL. On Night 1 on April 6, 2024, he will team up with Seth Rollins against The Bloodline (Roman Reigns and The Rock).
