There are conflicting reports over Daniel Bryan’s health status and the reason why he has been pulled from the ring. It was first believed that he had reinjured his neck, but then it was rumored that he actually sustained a concussion.
According to a new report from PWInsider.com it may be his neck after all. The injury is believed to have occurred on the April 9th house show in Dublin, Ireland, when he teamed with Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan to defeat Sheamus, Bray Wyatt and Bad News Barrett. It’s always possible that he has exacerbated his neck injury and suffered a concussion at the same time.
Although Bryan is currently scheduled to defend his IC title against Barrett at Extreme Rules, it’s not 100% certain that he’ll be able to do so.
There is some concern that Bryan underwent “holistic therapy” with an alternative doctor for his neck, when he should have actually had surgery.
