Could former WWE champions be responsible for Nikki Cross' current condition? Possible reasons explored

Nikki Cross acted quite bizarre on WWE Monday Night RAW

WWE Monday Night RAW was an exciting show. Numerous superstars were featured in big-time bouts and intriguing storylines. Perhaps the most baffling moment of the show, however, came during a tag team match.

Natalya needed a partner to battle the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Piper Niven and Chelsea Green, in non-title action. Nikki Cross seemingly stepped up to the plate, but what happened left fans very confused. Nikki was in a near-catatonic state. She simply didn't react to anything and walked away from the ring emotionless.

There have been a lot of possible explanations for this odd behavior. Some think Nikki is just being her typical wacky self. Perhaps the most intriguing and even most likely explanation could be that The Twisted Sister acted the way she did, thanks to a curse from The Unholy Union.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

The Unholy Union is a tag team on WWE SmackDown comprised of Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre. The witches recently claimed credit for the "curse" that has plagued the Women's Tag Team Titles throughout much of 2023.

Nikki Cross' absent expression and surprising lack of typical over-the-top energy could be the result of another curse. They could either be toying around with the division, attempting to bring another Scot into their fold, or want to keep Piper Niven and Chelsea Green as the champions until they can dethrone the pair themselves.

Tegan Nox had to miss WWE RAW due to an injury

If fans missed the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, they may be confused as to why Nikki Cross was Natalya's partner, to begin with. It certainly seemed random, but The Queen Of Harts was desperate.

Her partner was meant to be the talented Tegan Nox. Unfortunately, the likable WWE Superstar has an injury of some kind and couldn't compete for the night. This led to Natalya recruiting The Twisted Sister.

For now, details on Tegan's injury remain mostly non-existent. Still, it doesn't appear to be too bad. Natalya noted that Nox is fine and will be back soon. Matt Camp said on RAW Talk that Nox was banged up, which certainly doesn't sound like a serious injury that requires extensive time off.

Instead, Tegan may have suffered something minor from her competitive bout with Lyra Valkyria on NXT last week. The two WWE stars had a lot of chemistry and put on a very physical match. Lyra ultimately stood tall, and Nox likely just needs an extra week or two to recover.
