WWE is constantly experimenting with new gimmicks for their talents on RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. It seems the company might be gearing up for a 15-year veteran to undergo massive character change. Let’s look into the possibility.
The person in question is none other than Andre Chase. The 34-year-old star could be headed to the main roster following the events of the white and gold brand this week. For those unaware, Chase and Duke Hudson lost their NXT Tag Team Championship to The Family (Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo).
Chase got distracted by the Chase U section walking out during the match, causing The Family to take advantage of the opportunity and defeat him for the tag team titles. Backstage, Chase was flooded with questions but managed to escape after Jacy Jayne arrived to pick him up in her car.
Andre Chase has been with WWE NXT for quite some time, and it won’t be a surprise if he joins the main roster soon. The events of NXT this week seem to suggest that his time as Chase U’s patron might end.
