Back at SummerSlam, the WWE Universe was shocked to learn that Edge was cleared to return to the ring since he made an appearance in his hometown in order to spear Elias. The Rated R Superstar has been the subject of a number of rumors in recent weeks since he revealed that he didn't want to return to the company on a full-time basis and most recently quit his podcast.
Edge is one of the biggest stars of the last generation and easily one of the company's best heels, and if he's working his way up to a return to the company then it's easy to see it being in Saudi Arabia, since it would get him a huge payday and at his core, Edge is a family man.
See who is stunned by Hulk Hogan's words HERE
Edge hasn't stepped in the ring since 2011 but fellow Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels made his return in Saudi Arabia, as did Goldberg and if the Government want the company to continue to step up their game every time they venture over to The Middle East, then someone of Edge's caliber would definitely be a worthwhile investment.
