Dakota Kai wants to make history this Monday on RAW on Netflix, as she takes on Lyra Valkyria in the final of the inaugural Women's Intercontinental Championship tournament. She will also win the first singles title of her WWE run if she is victorious on Monday night.
The Damage CTRL member might not have to deal only with the former NXT Women's Champion, but one of her allies in the faction. This RAW star is former WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY.
SKY had the chance to go all the way in the tournament, but lost her match against Lyra and was eliminated. Thus, now she could turn on Dakota and assault her out of jealousy in case the latter wins and becomes the first-ever Women's Intercontinental Champion.
If WWE Creative goes that way, it could possibly mark the end of Damage CTRL as it is currently and will see IYO SKY have a heel turn. SKY would likely become the first challenger to Dakota Kai's championship.

Dakota Kai shares excitement as she pursues first major WWE title
Dakota Kai has been with the company for seven years now and has emerged as a top star on the main roster, after a successful stint on NXT.
She still has yet to win a major title in WWE and during an interview with The Ringer Wrestling Show, she shared her excitement about the opportunity to pursue a major title in WWE.
"I am so pumped. I’m very overwhelmed. I mean, it feels like it’s been a long time coming. I’ve been in the company for about seven years now, and while I’ve had opportunities, it’s almost been like close but no cigar. So, for me, next week is a big opportunity to show what I can do, for starters, and then hopefully finish off that fairytale ending and have my hand raised high and have that belt around my waist. But yeah, I’m super excited. I’ve been training for it and I hope everyone is excited as I am," Dakota said. [H/T - Wrestlezone]
