Dakota Kai gets back at Tegan Nox on Twitter

Dakota Kai viciously attacked her longtime friend Tegan Nox this past Saturday at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. Kai was chosen by Rhea Ripley to replace Mia Yim in her WarGames match team when Yim was taken out by an unknown assailant before the event started.

When Kai's turn came to enter the match, she instead attacked Nox inside the cage. She targeted Nox's surgically repaired knee and removed the knee brace.

On November 25, Nox gave an update of her condition and wrote that she was hurt more emotionally than physically and that it is always worse when the attack comes from someone who one considers to be a part of their family. Nox also mentioned that she is not sure what made Kai attack her but promised to get answers.

Earlier tonight, Dakota Kai responded to Nox's tweet by saying that The Captain of Team Kick could rather choose to remain silent just like Nox did. Along with the tweet, Kai attached a black & white photo of Team Ripley during the interview when Ripley chose Mia Yim over Kai as her final member for the WarGames match.

At that moment, Tegan Nox stayed silent and did not provide any words of support to Kai. Although Kai has not yet given any reason as to why she turned on Nox, it can be deduced from her tweet that this might have irked The Captain of Team Kick which made her snap and brutally attack Nox who was once her good friend.
