Damian Priest's days as WWE World Heavyweight Champion could be numbered as he could drop his title to seven-time champion, Drew McIntyre, shortly due to a huge name.
The name in question is Finn Balor. As fans must be aware, the self-proclaimed leader of The Judgment Day, Damian Priest, has not been on good terms with his stablemates in recent weeks.
The Archer of Infamy lashed out at Finn Balor following his win at Backlash France. Although he later apologized for his outburst, Balor might not take the insult too kindly. The Prince could betray his leader shortly, costing him his title in the process.
Drew McIntyre has been targeting Damian Priest since his loss at WrestleMania. The duo had a heated confrontation on Monday's RAW, where Priest agreed to give The Scottish Psychopath a shot at his title. The creative team is likely to book them in a match at Clash at the Castle. If that is indeed the case, Priest could drop his title to McIntyre because of Finn Balor's betrayal.
The Prince could make his presence felt during Priest's potential clash against McIntyre and cost him a win. Following that, he could coerce his Judgment Day teammates into kicking The Archer of Infamy out of the faction.
Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre have been going back and forth with each other
Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre have been involved in a war of words since the latter's loss at WrestleMania XL.
The Scottish Psychopath took a dig at The Archer of Infamy on the RAW after 'Mania, calling him a "transitional champion." Priest, however, hit back at him on an episode of WWE's The Bump, claiming that McIntyre couldn't walk his talk.
"Not if it's not true. I could care less what Drew says. Drew's been talking for months. That's all he does is talk. He's forgot how to deliver, and that's why he lost at WrestleMania, that's why he lost on RAW," Priest said, referring to the Fatal Four-Way number one contenders match. "The old Drew McIntyre, the one that he always talks about, when he had his moment but there was no fans, that guy handled business. This guy, all he does is talk, and complain, and whine, and then he loses."
As mentioned earlier, the duo was once again involved in a heated exchange on RAW. The ongoing tussle between them will likely culminate in a potential showdown at Clash at the Castle.
