Luis Martinez, also known as Damian Priest is one of the rising talents of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He is presently the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion along with Finn Balor as part of The Judgement Day. Damian Priest hails from New York City, New York, United States. He started his pro wrestling career in the indies with promotions like Monster Factory Pro Wrestling.

He is notable for competing in Ring of Honor (ROH) as Punishment Martinez and Damian Martinez and being the ROH World Television Champion. He debuted in NXT on June 19, 2019, and defeated Raul Mendoza (Cruz Del Toro). He became the NXT North American Champion at NXT TakeOver: XXX on August 22, 2019. Damian Priest made his main roster debut in Raw on February 1, 2021. He soon became the WWE United States Champion and Senor Money in the Bank. Domain Priest’s signature moves consist of Reckoning which is a rolling cutter, South of Heaven which is a sitout chokeslam and Broken Arrow, which is a suplex slam. Priest also won the World Heavyweight Championship in 2024.

WrestleMania XL - Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre

At WrestleMania XL, Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins to become the new World Heavyweight Champion and went on to taunt CM Punk. However, Punk attacked McIntyre and this opened the window for Mr. Money in the Bank Damian Priest to cash in his briefcase. Priest took the opportunity and then won the first-ever World Heavyweight Championship for the first time.

WrestleMania XL - Six-Pack Ladder Match

At WrestleMania XL-Night 1 on April 6, 2024, The Judgement Day (Damian Priest and Finn Balor) defended the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against The Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth), #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa), New Catch Republic (Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne), The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller). This was a Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder Match. Here, Priest and Balor lost both the belts while A-Town Down won the WWE Tag Team Championship and The Awesome Truth won the World Tag Team Championship.

WrestleMania 37 - Damian Priest & Bad Bunny vs. The Miz and John Morrison

Soon after making his main roster debut in WWE, Damian Priest earned himself a high-profile match where he teamed up with the Puerto Rican sensation Bad Bunny in a tag team match. His opponents in that match were the former tag team champions The Miz and John Morrison. All four superstars gave their best, and it was the team of Priest and Bunny that took home the victory.

Following the match, he along with Edge formed The Judgement Day.

WrestleMania 39-Night 1 (April 1, 2023)

Damian Priest arrived along with Finn Balor during Rey Mysterio’s match with Dominik Mysterio. While Rey Mysterio tried to attempt a frog splash on his son, Damian Priest pushed him off the turnbuckle. However, Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro) timely rushed to the rescue and attacked Damian Priest and Finn Balor, thereby helping Rey Mysterio to defeat his son and win the match.
