Darren Young and WWE engage on twitter over Abu Dhabi tour

WWE Superstar Darren Young came out last year saying he is gay

WWE Superstar Darren Young has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment with the WWE’s tour in Abu Dhabi. Young is an openly gay athlete, and the tour in Abu Dhabi is upsetting to him because homosexuality is a crime in Abu Dhabi. Darren expressed his disappointment on Twitter by saying, Why do we bring the best entertainment into a country like Abu Dhabi and they look down upon women and gays? I get it #MillionsofDollars.

The WWE came out with a statement saying they support Darren Young, and that they do not discriminate against people’s sexual orientation. The WWE also stated that they support Young’s right to express his views on Twitter. In the end the WWE let it be known that they keep Young off the tour for his own protection.

Despite WWE’s statement Darren Young is still upset with the tour and many (like Sean Waltman, aka X-Pac) have shown there support on Twitter.

Young took to Twitter one more time, and summed up his feeling for everyone:
