Bobby Roode's time on Raw has been anything other than glorious. He seems to have been sidelined in favor of the other superstars and now finds himself paired with Chad Gable.

It is unlikely that Roode and Gable are going to win championship gold together and a feud between them would not be very interesting to watch. Roode seems to have all the momentum which he had when he was a member of SmackDown Live and being in the title picture would be a way to change this.

He is unlikely to serve as a worthy rival for the Universal Championship just yet, but a feud for the Intercontinental Championship would be a great way to breathe some new life into the superstar. He definitely has charisma and would be a suitable holder of the belt in place of Rollins.
