The major match announced this week on RAW for SummerSlam features Kane taking on Bray Wyatt in a ‘Ring of Fire Match’.
The Ring of Fire is a variation of a traditional Inferno Match where there is one exception. The ring, ring posts, turnbuckles, and ring ropes are all on fire. The object of the match is to pin or make your opponent submit after setting him/her on fire.
Even though Kane never officially mentioned anything yet about his ‘Inferno match’ at SummerSlam, WWE‘s official preview termed it a ‘Ring of Fire Match’ and wrote this:
“The Devil’s Favorite Demon will get a chance at long-awaited vengeance when he goes one-on-one with Bray Wyatt inside a ‘Ring of Fire.’… the much-anticipated ‘Ring of Fire’ battle – which marks Wyatt’s first match in WWE and Kane’s 11th SummerSlam appearance – promises fireworks – or, more appropriately, hellfire.”
The Wyatt’s have personally taken to attacking Kane on recent shows, and the ‘Big Red Machine’ is going to seek his revenge at SummerSlam. Kane and The Undertaker faced each other in a famous ‘Inferno match’ at Unforgiven 1998. Kane certainly has the experience and skill going into this match.
