Dexter Lumis (birth name: Samuel Robert Shaw), the American pro-level grappler is at present performing in WWE on the RAW brand. He formerly performed for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) from 2010 to 2015 under the in-ring name Sam Shaw and Samuel Shaw.
He started his professional grappling career in free wrestling advancements in the year 2007. He marked an agreement with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and won the TNA Gut Check challenge in 2012. He then spent a stint in TNA's developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW).
He left TNA in 2015 and returned to the free wrestling promotions. He performed in those promotions for almost five years and went on to join WWE in the year 2019. He first departed from the WWE in 2022 and returned once more to the independent circuit. Lumis returned to the WWE after some months in the same year. Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) placed Dexter Lumis at the 142nd spot among the top 500 grapplers in the year 2021.
