However, Lashley remains part of the company for now, and there have been no reports of him being released. Lashley has been removed from the internal roster page, but he is still part of WWE's official roster.

The former champion's last match was on May 5th, when he defeated Santos Escobar during a WWE Live Event. He has been out since then due to an injury he sustained in training. Before that, he appeared at WrestleMania 40 and on the first SmackDown after 'Mania.

Will Bobby Lashley move to another wrestling promotion?

It is unclear what plans Bobby Lashley will have once his WWE contract is over. The expectation is that he will attract interest from fellow wrestling promotions, but there is no word as to what he will do next.

"Lashley has been out of action for a number of months, and sources have told us that he plans on continuing wrestling if for some reason an extension is not reached with WWE. Lashley has not been factored into WWE creative plans since the spring," Fightful Select reported, via Bleacher Report.

Aside from WWE, Lashley has had a successful career in TNA, thus he could move there next. In addition, he could pursue a move to AEW, as we have seen several wrestlers move from WWE to AEW recently and vice versa.

Last but not least, a return to MMA could also be an option, as Lashley has won 15 of his 17 matches in the sport.

There is no word on why Lashley and WWE have not reached an agreement on a new deal. Only time will tell whether the veteran and the Stamford-based promotion can come to terms.
