Did Damian Priest get injured at the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames? The exact nature of his issues disclosed

Damian Priest lost the opportunity to win back the WWE World Heavyweight Title against Gunther at Survivor Series: WarGames, all thanks to outside intervention from Finn Balor. However, what's more concerning for fans is a suspected shoulder injury that caused him trouble during the contest.

The Archer of Infamy hurt his shoulder during the match, and it caused him trouble executing his Razor's Edge move on Gunther. So, is it a genuine injury that might affect Damian's future bookings in WWE? The answer is no. He was probably selling the injury and there was no worry or concern.

The Archer of Infamy, however, had to face another setback because of his former Judgment Day teammate Finn Balor. The Prince arrived out of nowhere and hit Priest with Coup de Grace right when he was outside the ring. Gunther spotted Balor and kicked him in the face. Priest was lifeless by then and it took only a powerbomb and then a submission lock from Gunther to secure the victory.

This was The Archer of Infamy's first match against Gunther since losing the title at SummerSlam 2024. In both encounters, Finn Balor played the spoiler for The Archer of Infamy.

However, it was speculated that Finn Balor might have something up his sleeves as he was seen constantly referring to Priest's attempt at winning the World Heavyweight Championship in his promos. He even chided Dominik Mysterio for letting Priest get closer to the World Heavyweight Title.

This also led to some confrontation between Balor and Dominik, and it was assumed that Dom might walk out of The Judgment Day.

Damian Priest might go after Finn Balor instead of Gunther

The former World Heavyweight Champion might go after Finn Balor on WWE RAW this week and could delay his quest for the title for a while. Priest defeated Balor in a singles match at Bad Blood PLE, but that seemed to have not ended their feud.

Even while walking back after attacking Priest, Balor looked at the camera and said, that he'll be waiting till he almost forgets, as "Finn never forgets anything."

Damian Priest could attack Finn Balor on RAW and challenge him for a match at Saturday Night's Main Event PLE. Damian Priest could cost Finn Balor his WWE World Tag Team Championship match at Saturday Night's Main Event to give Balor a taste of his own medicine.

The two might then go on to face each other at Royal Rumble next year. It remains to be seen how things pan out.
