After a disappointing loss at WWE Bad Blood, The Bloodline bounced back to their usual best as Solo Sikoa defeated the returning Jimmy Uso on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
However, the win wasn't straightforward, as The Bloodline relied on distractions to help Solo secure the victory. One of those distractions came from Jacob Fatu, who pulled Jimmy off the top rope at a critical moment. Unfortunately, as Fatu exited the referee’s line of sight, he landed awkwardly on his feet outside the ring. Fans have since been speculating whether Jacob Fatu might actually be injured.
Some fans online claimed to have seen him limping after the incident. However, there has been no official update from WWE regarding any potential injury.
Wrestling veteran predicts WWE's next big plan for Jacob Fatu
Jacob Fatu has quickly established himself as one of the most fearsome stars on the current WWE roster since his debut. The former MLW star has impressed both fans and critics with his incredible athleticism and intensity in the ring.
Wrestling legend Bill Apter recently weighed in on Fatu’s future, stating that a matchup between Jacob Fatu and Roman Reigns would be incredibly compelling. Apter predicted this could become one of WWE’s major programs, potentially leading to key matches at Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble.
"Wow, I think that's [Roman vs Jacob] a very compelling match . The fans went crazy over Roman [Reigns]. They want to see him destroy the other side of The Bloodline. I'm hoping it's going to happen, perhaps as early as Survivor Series. I think they're going to be against each other with teams at Survivor Series and perhaps in January in the Royal Rumble, we'll see them against each other. But Jacob Fatu is so wonderfully insane. That's one of the few matches that I look at and say 'I want to see that match, I can't wait to see what they do with that.'"
It will be interesting to see what the Stamford-based company has planned for Jacob Fatu moving forward.
