Kevin Owens unleashed his wrath on Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood by assaulting him near his bus after the show. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis fined and suspended the former Universal Champion but it didn't stop him from showing up on last week's show. Given that KO is consumed with burning rage, fans can expect him to show up tonight as well.
The Stamford-based promotion will often fine or suspend superstars if their behavior doesn't align with company policies, and that includes assaulting colleagues or authorities backstage or anywhere outside the ring. However, the situation is different for The Prizefighter.
Kevin Owens' attack on Cody Rhodes is a part of a developing storyline. Hence, the consequences of his actions are part of the storyline as well. WWE has not actually fined the superstar or suspended him from in-ring action.

Fines and suspensions are often parts of creative angles to keep a certain degree of reality aligned with the script where acting out of line gets one penalized, just like any other industry. Furthermore, it helps to write a superstar off WWE TV for a while before having them return to avenge themselves.
Kevin Owens launched an attack on Randy Orton as well
On the last episode of WWE SmackDown, The Prizefighter showed up on the show to explain his side of the story. He couldn't finish explaining himself when WWE cut off the mic and The American Nightmare arrived ringside. Luckily, Nick Aldis and Randy Orton showed up to defuse the situation, but little did anyone know this would be the beginning of R-KO's end.
Inside the ring, KO accidentally elbowed Orton during the chaos and The Apex Predator returned the favor with a strong right hook across Owens' jaw. The Prizefighter avenged himself by launching a full-fledged attack on Randy Orton backstage when The Viper tried to talk some sense into his former tag team partner.
The Viper has issued a warning to Kevin Owens, letting him know that once he is back in the States, he is going to whip The Prizefighter!
