WWE Superstar Liv Morgan scored a major victory against IYO SKY and retained her title on Saturday Night’s Main Event. The Women’s World Champion didn’t have to resort to any dirty tricks during the match to defeat the Damage CTRL member. However, she didn’t have a clean victory and was seen bleeding after the fight. Therefore, questions have now risen on whether the star injured herself during the bout.

IYO SKY had the offensive edge for almost the entirety of the match, with Liv Morgan inserting a few moves of her own in between. However, a slip-up from SKY gave Morgan the window she needed to turn the tide. Just a few moments later, the inaugural Women’s Crown Jewel Champion finished things off with an Oblivion.

However, before the Damage CTRL member lost her balance on the ropes, she landed a vicious knee on the reigning champ’s nose. As soon as Morgan sat back up after pinning her opponent, blood was seen running down her nose.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

The visual was even displayed in an action replay showcasing the impact from SKY’s knee. So far, there’s no official confirmation from WWE if Liv Morgan got injured from that move. However, commentator Pat McAfee highlighted that it could be the case and she could probably have a broken nose.

WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura heaped praise on Liv Morgan

Saturday Night’s Main Event saw the return of Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura in the inaugural episode of the show’s relaunch. The Body appreciated the grit of Liv Morgan for not just continuing to wrestle, but for winning her match against SKY.

He noted that the mean knee the champion ate could have dazed and knocked out any other competitor. However, Morgan’s resilience and tenacity didn’t allow that to happen. Ventura also complimented Dominik Mysterio and said he had a fine eye for tough women.

Interestingly, when Morgan was walking out with Dirty Dom and Raquel Rodriguez, Rhea Ripley entered the arena. The Eradicator eyed the Women’s World Champion, who returned her stare. This time, instead of reeling in fear, Morgan even lifted her title high while Mami looked on.

With IYO SKY out of her way, Morgan doesn’t have any active challengers for the Women’s World Championship. Thus, it leaves room open for Rhea Ripley to challenge The Judgment Day member once again.
