There is no ounce of doubt that the WWE Universe is waiting for Roman Reigns' return. Every SmackDown, without fail, the fans will chant "We want Roman", showcasing the amount of admiration they have for The Tribal Chief. Even though he worked as a heel since 2020, he had the fans rooting for him every time the title was put on the line.
The Bloodline's recent developments have forced fans to wonder whether Reigns will ever return or not. Even Solo Sikoa told Paul Heyman that The Tribal Chief was never coming back. However, WWE's Chief Content Officer Triple H made a couple of comments on The Pat McAfee Show that hint at The Head of the Table's return.
During the conversation, The Game was asked about the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, and he commented that WWE focuses on short-term, mid-term, and long-term stories. Currently, The Bloodline has Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu as new recruits while Solo Sikoa is 'The Head of the Table.' As the company moves towards SummerSlam 2024, the stories will begin to come together, with the loose ends getting tied together.
"When you look at where we're at right now and how much excitement there is and you still start thinking about 'we don't have Roman, we don't have Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch is out on a hiatus right now'... So the amount of people that you have still to come, the amount of storyline you still have to roll out...," he said.
Given that he mentioned Roman Reigns' name in the list of people who are yet to return, fans can rest assured that The Tribal Chief will be making a comeback!
WWE has discussed a match for Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2024
Once Roman Reigns returns to WWE, the company could set up the Civil War. Currently, Reigns is expected to return as babyface to take on Solo Sikoa and save The Bloodline.
As per Xero News, WWE has discussed a match between The Tribal Chief and The Enforcer at SummerSlam 2024. Of course, how the match will pan out and its stipulations will depend on when he returns and how much time the company has to set up the feud.
Currently, The Bloodline is in a feud with Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes on SmackDown. With the addition of Jacob Fatu, the Samoan faction has become even stronger.
