Did WWE drop an easter egg about Finn Balor’s plans in 2025? Subtle hint explored

Things haven't gone well for Finn Balor lately. He missed the opportunity to dethrone Gunther and become the new World Heavyweight Champion while internal issues continued on Judgment Day.

As his rivalry with former friend Damian Priest continues, WWE could have hinted at what is next for the former Universal Champion in 2025. During a segment on RAW on Monday, Finn Balor was talking to Raquel Rodriguez with The Demon mask in the background.

This could indicate that Balor will bring back the Demon gimmick after nearly two years, as WWE could eventually push the leader of Judgment Day. At the same time, though, Finn has opened up about The Demon gimmick, saying that time is not yet right for its return. Maybe the RAW premiere on Netflix this Monday night will shed more light on WWE's plans for The Judgment Day leader.

Former SmackDown GM hopeful that Finn Balor will become champion again

It has been quite a while since Finn Balor won a title in singles action. Over the past few years, he failed to become champion again, even though he is considered one of the top talents in WWE.

Former SmackDown General Manager and WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long recently praised the RAW star and was hopeful that Balor would become champion again soon.

"Well, we never know, Finn does a great job and he’s been involved in a lot of good stuff, so we just never know. I hope so, I hope they’re not just wasting him, you know what I mean? I hope this kind of moves him up in the ranks," Teddy Long said. [H/T ITR Wrestling]

That said, WWE could provide more hints on what is next for Finn Balor this Monday on RAW.

His rivalry with Damian Priest is expected to continue. Because of the tension between the two, we should also wait to see whether The Judgment Day will break up going forward and whether Balor will turn on Dominik Mysterio.
