Former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Cora Jade wrestled her first match in over nine months after a major ACL injury that kept her away for an extended period. In the second match on the Halloween Havoc 2024 card, fans saw ex-foes Cora and Roxanne Perez teaming up to take on charismatic newcomers Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer.
Overall, the match was fast-paced and had multiple jaw-dropping moments. During the bout, fans pointed out a scary moment where Giulia planted a knee on Cora's face, and viewers shared some slow-motion clips of the sequence. The spot had fans wondering whether the 23-year-old had lost a tooth with the intense impact of the move. The answer is no.
Upon taking a closer look, it looked like what came out of her mouth was a piece of gum that she had been chewing. An eagle-eyed X user mentioned it in the comments.

Cora Jade paid tribute to AEW star
Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer secured the big win against Cora Jade and WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez in the much-anticipated tag team match at Halloween Havoc. The fans loved the many incredible sequences during the bout. During the match, The Sorceress of Sin paid homage to a major star from a rival promotion, Darby Allin, by hitting the Coffin Drop move made famous by the AEW star.
The 23-year-old was not the only one who paid tribute to a star. Stephanie Vaquer also honored Hall of Famer and former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio. Giulia helped her tag partner set up the iconic 619, and Vaquer connected it on Perez’s face, leaving fans cheering wildly.
The future looks bright for newcomers Giulia and Stephanie. It will be interesting to see if the Stamford-based company continues to book them as a team or if they will move forward in a different direction.
