Rhea Ripley has been put through the wringer this year in WWE and looks to have sustained an injury. The Eradicator had been feuding with Liv Morgan lately but could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
That's because Liv and her new lackey, Raquel Rodriguez, attacked Ripley backstage on NXT last night (October 29). The injury is an angle to continue the heated rivalry. So, Rhea is NOT injured in real life.
A bloodied Rhea Ripley was attended to by bypasses in the aftermath of the ambush. A video of the post-beatdown was released on WWE.com, and they claim the Australian star suffered a 'fractured right orbital socket.' She'll be out of action for an 'undisclosed amount of time.'

Fans on social media expect Ripley to be written off WWE TV until the Royal Rumble (February 1). There is a suggestion that her storyline with Liv Morgan will drag until WrestleMania 41, and this "attack" will prolong the feud.
The duo's story has been one of constant injuries and revenge. Ripley initially injured Morgan before the latter returned, putting her rival on the shelf with a shoulder injury.
Morgan defended her Women's World Championship at Bad Blood and kept her title thanks to Rodriguez's interference. Ripley got the win by DQ but didn't walk away as champion.
The Women's World Champ will be in action at Crown Jewel on November 2. She'll face SmackDown's WWE Women's Champion, Nia Jax, for the inaugural Crown Jewel Championship.
Rhea Ripley could return for WWE Survivor Series
Rhea Ripley is one of WWE's biggest superstars. The promotion will undoubtedly want her to appear at one of its biggest events of the year. The 28-year-old will likely miss Crown Jewel thanks to her kayfabe injury, perhaps to take time off.
Survivor Series will be the final PLE of the year (November 30), and Ripley could return for that event. Saturday Night's Main Event takes place on December 14, which could be another event the promotion wants her to attend.
A lack of credibility has somewhat tainted Liv Morgan's reign, as she's constantly running away from Ripley. They could use some time apart and allow other contenders to enter the equation.
The Judgment Day star is now working in cahoots with Rodriguez. This adds an interesting layer to her spell as champion, as she now has a bodyguard to help her remain on top.
