Zelina Vega came up short in her quest to become the inaugural Women's Intercontinental Champion. The star member of LWO competed in a Triple Threat match against Ivy Nile and Lyra Valkyria this past Monday on RAW, with the latter standing tall and advancing to the semi-finals.
After the show was over, there was speculation that Zelina Vega could leave WWE. However, there is no truth in it, as PWInsider reported that she was under contract with the Stamford-based company and the deal was not set to expire anytime soon.
At the same time, Zelina Vega has received a positive reaction from the fans and has become a fan favorite during her stint as face. Manny fans didn't like the fact that she was eliminated in the opening round of the tournament and would not fight for the Women's Intercontinental Championship.
That said, it is still unclear what is next for her, as she is also in the middle of a feud with Ivy Nile as part of the rivalry between LWO and American Made.

Zelina Vega has her sights set on the Women's World Championship
Zelina Vega missed the chance to fight for a major singles title on Monday Night RAW. She will now have to wait to see if she will become part of the title picture again.
The LWO star has not claimed a singles title in her WWE career so far and in a recent interview with Sportskeeda, she revealed that she had her sights set on becoming world champion.
"I feel like I've gotten the chance to do some amazing things, work with some amazing people. Andrade, and obviously I, got to work very closely with Rey, I got to be the first ever Queen of the Ring, and tag champion, but I've never actually gotten to be WWE Women's Champion. So that's my goal. It's something that I really wanted to do and prove that I can do. There's been so many doubters and people who thought I couldn't do any of what I've accomplished," Vega said. There is no word yet on whether Zelina will get a chance to dethrone Liv Morgan and become the new Women's World Champion. The other scenario is for her and LWO to join the SmackDown roster during the transfer window and go after the current WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax.
