WWE has long been home to some epic rivalries, and back in the day, Triple H versus The Rock was one of them. The two legends have gone one-on-one a grand total of 22 times, but rumor is that their animosity in the ring has spilled outside of it. Well, recently a WWE veteran shared his thoughts on this supposed hatred between The King of Kings and The Final Boss.
On the most recent episode of The Coach & Bro show on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Backstage Pass, Vince Russo and Jonathan Coachman probed the topic of The Rock and Triple H's relationship. During the conversation, The Coach made the huge claim that the two "do not like each other at all." That's right, the 51-year-old even requested viewers to ignore what they saw on TV, as he claimed that the animosity between the two was very real.
"I don't care what you watch on TV; I don't care what you see backstage; I don't care about, 'Hey bro, how you doing?' 'Yeah, I'm good!' Triple H and The Rock do not like each other at all," Coachman claimed.
Later on in the episode, The Coach implied that while the two were technically working together under the umbrella that is TKO, Triple H doesn't really have authority over The Rock, as he does with other superstars. That is why The People's Champion can come and go as he pleases.
At the end of the day, though, there really is no telling what their relationship is like. While anyone can speculate about the details, only the two men in question know how they feel about each other.
Triple H gave The Rock his flowers following the latter's return at WWE Bad Blood
Whether or not Triple H and The Rock like each other is something we may never know. But one thing is for sure: they both are extremely professional.
In the post-Bad Blood press conference, WWE's CCO addressed The Great One's shocking return after an epic tag team match featuring Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Bloodline. The Game claimed that one had to be the biggest star in the world to do what The Rock did, and that was to walk in and electrify the WWE Universe, before walking out.
It's fair to say that things are about to get very exciting in WWE. Is The Rock back full-time now? What are his plans? What does this mean for Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns? Only time will tell!
