Does Roman Reigns hate Solo Sikoa in real life? What we know following his WWE return

Roman Reigns returned to WWE TV at SummerSlam 2024, and of course, it became one of the top moments from the premium live event. He delivered a Superman Punch and a Spear to Solo Sikoa, enabling Cody Rhodes to pick up the victory in the main event. The self-proclaimed Tribal Chief was left frustrated, screaming his lungs out, while Rhodes was shocked by how the situation unfolded.

Before his return, news surfaced that Roman Reigns had unfollowed Solo Sikoa on social media after the latter took over The Bloodline's leadership. However, WWE Superstars maintain kayfabe on social media to keep up with storylines. Reigns and Sikoa come from the same family. Hence, he doesn't hate Sikoa in real life.

Solo Sikoa's father, Rikishi, and Roman Reigns are cousins, and that makes Reigns Sikoa's uncle. However, The Big Dog and The Usos are of the same age, but Solo Sikoa is seven years younger than them. Hence, Reigns has always been closer to The Usos growing up.

In fact, Solo Sikoa explained his relationship with Roman Reigns during an interview with Cheap Heat in 2022.

"You know, seeing Roman in Cardiff, I haven't seen him for like over 20 years. We really weren't close but he was always around at our house, playing with my brothers, because they were the same age and I was way younger than them. He was always around our house, but I think now coming into the business, I'm starting to get close with [sic] him, even though the age gap is there. I'm really starting to get close with him because, I mean, it's Big Uce, Roman Reigns. He's been running this game for a while now."

Members of the Anoa'i family share a strong bond and have looked out for one another from the beginning. Solo Sikoa was one of the Samoans who paid tribute to Reigns' father, Sika Anoa'i when he passed away.

Roman Reigns' return was kept secret

Although there were speculations of The Original Tribal Chief's return to WWE TV at SummerSlam 2024, not much information was available about it. It turns out that only a handful knew about the former Undisputed WWE Champion's comeback.

As per Fightful, Reigns' return was naturally planned, but the details of it were kept under wraps. It was only during his actual return that everyone in WWE realized what was going down.

Reigns is expected to begin his feud against Solo Sikoa on WWE SmackDown, and Cody Rhodes may also be a part of it.
