Dolph Ziggler escapes injury, big social media campaign by WWE fans for NXT star

Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler

Last night at a WWE live event in Stockton, CA, Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler suffered a nasty cut on his knee.

Reader Darren W. reported that Dolph’s knee was cut wide open and he was bleeding a lot and after his win over The Miz, he was checked on by a referee before walking to the back on his own.

Darren also noted that he saw Ziggler after the show outside of the arena and he was in good spirits.

Elsewhere, WWE fans have launched a big campaign on Twitter as tweets have been flowing into the accounts of Triple H and NXT to get Solomon Crowe to make his TV debut.

Fans had “#WeWantCrowe” trending twice on Friday.
