Dominik Mysterio to adopt WWE Hall of Famer's tactic to betray Rhea Ripley? Exploring potential swerve at SummerSlam

Dominik Mysterio must be in a good mood with SummerSlam around the corner. Not only has he got Liv Morgan off his back, but he's also back on good terms with Rhea Ripley. But, what if this was all planned? What if Dirty Dom plans on betraying Mami at The Biggest Party of the Summer? And, if so, could he adopt the tactic of a WWE Hall of Famer?

The WWE Hall of Famer is none other than Trish Stratus, and the answer to the question is quite possibly "Yes". Stratus was a perfectionist when it came to the art of betrayal, and nothing exemplifies this like what she did at WrestleMania 20. Many will remember how she betrayed Chris Jericho and sided with Christian. So heinous was that act of betrayal, that Dominik Mysterio just might look to recreate it.

Much like Stratus did in 2004, Dominik Mysterio could attempt to help Rhea Ripley in her match with Liv Morgan. This could lead to a situation where he enters the ring, only to be met by an irate Morgan, faking anger after being rejected. This could lead to him being attacked, and once he's struggling in the corner, Mami can approach to help Dom, only to be knocked in the face. Taking advantage, Morgan pins Ripley and takes home the win.

Of course, it wouldn't end there, as Dom Dom will try to apologize. Unfortunately, for Ripley, it is nothing more than a ruse, as Mysterio shows his true colors, proving he was on Liv Morgan's side all along. The ultimate betrayal, inspired by one of the greatest of all time.

That being said, this is nothing more than speculation. There is no telling what will go down at SummerSlam. All the WWE Universe can do is wait and see how this story unfolds.

Liv Morgan sent Dominik Mysterio a message on RAW this week

While there is a possibility that Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio are in cahoots, it certainly doesn't seem so right now. Following the rejection, Morgan has become unhinged and this was evident on this week's episode of Monday Night RAW. Not only did she trash The Judgment Day's clubhouse, but she also sent a message to Dirty Dom.

In a vignette that was aired on RAW, Morgan was seen burning things, including some of Dominik's clothes, and a picture of herself with him with his eyes crossed out. While doing this, she delivered an impassioned speech, wherein she claimed that Mysterio was "not a man," and that he was Rhea Ripley's "b*tch."

The Women's World Championship match at SummerSlam will definitely be a must-see. The WWE Universe is in for an epic bout that will likely end in heartbreak. Will that be for Rhea Ripley or Liv Morgan? Only time will tell.
