Dominik Mysterio's decision to join The Judgment Day in 2022 was one of WWE's best moves in recent years. It significantly changed the trajectory of his wrestling career, and he has since become one of the top heels in the company.
However, this successful run with The Judgment Day may soon come to an end. There is a possibility that he could leave his girlfriend, Liv Morgan, and officially turn babyface.
Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee of the Latino World Order (LWO) have declared their intention to dethrone the Judgment Day duo of Finn Balor and JD McDonagh to become the next World Tag Team Champions. This could eventually lead to a full-blown rivalry between LWO and Judgment Day down the line.
Dominik's issues with his father, Rey, are well documented, but if Judgment Day starts to continuously attack Rey, Dominik may begin to feel sympathy for his father and guilt over his involvement in the beatdowns.
This could potentially lead to a shocking babyface turn for Dominik Mysterio as he could abandon Liv Morgan and The Judgment Day to reunite with his father. This development could gradually unfold in the buildup to WrestleMania 41 next year, where Rey and Dominik could win the tag titles from Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
Dominik Mysterio is tired of WWE legends like The Rock and CM Punk
Rey Mysterio isn't the only legendary superstar Dominik Mysterio has issues with. It turns out he's tired of all the older stars.
In a recent interview, Dom expressed frustration with the "old heads" who come to WWE and think they can still compete with the younger generation. He remarked that people like CM Punk and The Rock can come and get what they want, but at the end of the day, they're just jealous of his hair.
While speaking with Adam Barnard on Fountain Radio, he said:
"Honestly, I’m just tired of these old heads thinking they can hang and come in here with this younger generation. I don’t even want to speak for everyone else. I’m speaking for just myself. The end of the day, I’m my own person. I’m the greatest Mysterio of all time. These old heads want to come in and get it, they all can. CM Punk, The Rock, don’t matter. They’re just mad because they don’t have hair, and I have the best hair and the best mustache," Dominik said.
It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for Dominik Mysterio moving forward.
