Dominik Mysterio failed to win the World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender's Fatal Four-Way against Seth Rollins, Damian Priest, and Sheamus. Not only did he lose, but he took the pinfall from Priest in the match.
Interestingly, no one from The Judgment Day came out to help Dirty Dom during the match. Usually, the faction members always run interference, especially if the match is against former Judgment Day members. This can become the reason for a heated argument between Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor.
On the upcoming episode of WWE RAW, the former NXT North American Champion can question The Prince about why no one showed up to help him, especially against The Archer of Infamy. While Balor tries to provide an explanation, Mysterio can hit him with the 'jealousy' card. Dirty Dom proceeds to claim that Finn is jealous of Mysterio's advances towards the World Heavyweight Championship, and is deliberately not allowing the other Judgment Day members to assist.
Lately, certain segments have showcased rising tension between Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio. In fact, The Prince walked away during a backstage segment after Mysterio dismissed Balor's advice about how to defeat Damian Priest.
If the situation continues to turn sour, Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor might have a fallout, leading to an internal conflict within The Judgment Day.
Dominik Mysterio took shots at former United States Champion
Dirty Dom has had several opponents since turning heel, but he hasn't secured any singles championship in a minute. However, that doesn't stop him from taking shots at the superstars who have had excellent years in WWE and have secured the gold.
Recently, Mysterio and Liv Morgan appeared on The Bootleg Kev podcast where they were asked about Logan Paul's in-ring abilities. Mysterio does not seem too convinced that The Maverick has extraordinary talent as an athlete, and is yet to learn more.
"Yeah. [laughs] Yeah, I mean... [Liv laughs with him] I wrestled the guy. I was his first [WrestleMania opponent]. I think he still has a lot to learn, and I think the time he has to be able to, like, practice and develop more stuff is more power to him because I said it when I was on his podcast, but we're constantly on the road every week, and, like, he lost the title how long ago? And we haven't seen him since... shout-out Logan, but you know."
Logan Paul had pitched a tag team idea of himself and Dominik Mysterio to Triple H, but that idea never took off. Maybe The Game will create a feud between the superstars instead of putting them in a tag team.
