Last Monday on RAW, Dominik Mysterio had a verbal altercation with fellow Judgment Day member Finn Balor. The former lost to Damian Priest, who became the No.1 contender to Gunther's World Heavyweight Championship.
Balor was frustrated with Dirty Dom, who the former Judgment Day leader defeated, but Mysterio told Balor that he had come closer to a title shot than the Finn had come in a very long time. During his appearance on the November 11 episode of the red brand, Dominik Mysterio was seen wearing the classic Mysterio beanie that his father Rey used to wear during his time in WCW, where he had a run as a heel and became the Cruiserweight Champion.
By wearing the beanie, Dominik may have teased a reunion with his father, Rey, after nearly two years as a heel. A reunion with Rey Mysterio would mean that the former champion would have a face turn, which could happen only if Dirty Dom leaves The Judgment Day.
On that occasion, Dominik would seek revenge on Finn Balor and could reunite with his father to challenge Balor and JD McDonagh for the World Tag Team Championship, with the match taking place at WrestleMania 41.
Liv Morgan praises on-screen boyfriend Dominik Mysterio for his work ethic
Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio have become a power couple in WWE, and they are doing a great job as heels on Monday Night RAW. The duo has built a remarkable on-screen relationship, with Dirty Dom helping Liv retain the Women's World Championship on several occasions.
For her part, Morgan appeared on the Pat McAfee podcast and praised her on-screen boyfriend for his work ethic.
"He's [Dominik Mysterio] like the hardest working man in WWE. That's why he's not here today, because we had to give him a day off. He's so hard working. He's so hard working," Morgan said.
With that in mind, a good question would be what the reigning Women's World Champion would do if Dominik left The Judgment Day and reunited with his father, going after Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. She could either have a face turn or betray Dirty Dom and align with Balor.
