There has been noticeable dissension within The Judgment Day as of late. During the latest episode of WWE RAW, Dominik Mysterio was involved in a heated argument with Finn Balor.
Balor was frustrated that Dominik failed to get the job done in his match against Damian Priest last week. However, Dirty Dom pushed back, claiming that The Prince was simply upset because he could not beat Priest himself, something Dom Dom had already done a few weeks ago. This conflict could potentially lead to the 27-year-old star kicking Balor out of The Judgment Day.
He may feel that the former Universal Champion is no longer essential to the group and decide to take over. Dominik could convince Omos to join The Judgment Day as his bodyguard, as The Nigerian Giant could help kick Balor out of the group.
The 7 foot 3 inches star has been out of action for several months now. This direction could give WWE a way to reintroduce him into their weekly programming.
Several WWE stars tried to get Omos fired, according to Bobby Lashley
Omos was signed by WWE in 2019 before making his television debut during an episode of Monday Night RAW in 2020. The Nigerian Giant has since established himself as a special attraction for fans, known for his huge frame and daunting presence.
However, the former RAW Tag Team Champion has had his fair share of challenges while rising through the ranks within the company. In a recent interview, AEW star Bobby Lashley revealed that there were a few stars who were trying to get Omos fired in his initial days. Some felt that he was too stiff in the ring. The All Mighty revealed that when WWE paired him with Omos, he was ready to work with the latter, understanding where he was coming from.
"When (Omos) first came on, they were gonna fire him because he hurt a couple people. He’s a freaking giant. He makes me feel like a child and when he came in there at the beginning, he was wrestling with certain people and there was a couple people like, ‘Gosh dang it!’ And yelling at him and trying to make him look bad to the office and trying to get him fired because he hit a dude hard and stuff like that. So, when they put him with me, I was like, ‘I’ll work with him,’ because I understand where he’s coming from and I had the mentality of Taker," Bobby Lashley said.
It will be interesting to see what the Stamford-based company has planned for Omos moving forward.
