#2 Samoa Joe moves to SmackDown during WWE Draft 2020

Samoa Joe isn't entirely inactive as he's featured regularly on the RAW commentary panel for a while now. However, he hasn't wrestled since February earlier this year after injuring his head while shooting a commercial. If Joe is to make a return to in-ring action, he will not get a grander stage than the WWE Draft.

Samoa Joe has managed to endear himself to the WWE Universe during his commentary stint so it would make a lot of sense if he returns to in-ring competition as a babyface. While one could argue that his past run-ins with Seth Rollins make him an automatic addition to the ongoing storyline involving the Mysterio family, there are already too many layers there.

Instead, Joe could move to SmackDown via the WWE Draft and find his footing in the mid-card by reigniting past feuds – say against AJ Styles – or by starting a new one. He would also be an able challenger for Roman Reigns' Universal Championship.
