WWE SmackDown Superstar Drew Gulak recently took to Twitter to call out fellow SmackDown Superstar Mustafa Ali regarding his Survivor Series performance. WWE's Fall Classic emanated last Sunday from Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois which is Ali's hometown.
The Philadelphia Stretcher wrote that he had a great plan and added that SmackDown might have lost the "battle of the brands" at Survivor Series but there was no performance as shortsighted and embarrassing as the one that Mustafa Ali had.
Ali was part of the men's SmackDown team for their traditional 5-on-5-on-5 elimination tag match against RAW and NXT. Team captain Roman Reigns solely led the Blue Brand to victory but an altercation with King Corbin led to Ali's elimination from the match courtesy of the Stomp from RAW team captain Seth Rollins.

What's next for Gulak and Ali?
Before Drew Gulak got drafted to SmackDown as a part of the 2019 WWE Draft, he was the NXT Cruiserweight Champion until he dropped the title to Lio Rush. After he made his debut on the Blue Brand, things have not been the same for Gulak as he has mostly been part of segments with Braun Strowman where he was easily beaten up by The Monster Among Men.
Ali was once slated to face Daniel Bryan for his WWE Championship at WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 but a serious injury sidelined him for a couple of months and the opportunity went to Kofi Kingston who later beat Bryan at WrestleMania 35 in a historic match to become the WWE Champion. It remains to be seen if Gulak and Ali can reignite their rivalry from WWE 205 Live on SmackDown.
