Drew McIntyre made his much-awaited return to television on the latest edition of WWE RAW. While he certainly created an impact, his potential opponent for Saturday Night's Main Event isn't finalized yet.
The closing moments of this week's edition of WWE RAW featured Seth Rollins defeating Sami Zayn, after which Drew McIntyre shockingly returned and hit Zayn with a devastating Claymore. He could have also been behind the backstage attack on Jey Uso just before the main event. The company will broadcast Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14, where the returning star could have a battle.
With that said The Scottish Psychopath could end up facing Sami Zayn at the upcoming special event. And although we haven't heard him say anything yet, it's highly likely he holds similar beliefs to those of Seth Rollins, who battled Zayn for choosing to side with Roman Reigns. Since The Visionary has already faced the former seven-time WWE champion, it may be McIntyre's chance to do the same in Long Island, N.Y.

While signs do point in that direction, nothing is confirmed yet and the match-up is just speculation for now. It will be very interesting to hear what McIntyre finally has to say on the red brand.
What else could Drew McIntyre do at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event?
In case the company doesn't plan to book the former World Heavyweight Champion to fight Sami Zayn at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, several other options are available for the Scottish Warrior.
He could seemingly face Jey Uso if he is revealed as the mystery backstage attacker. He hasn't forgiven Roman Reigns and The Bloodline for his loss at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022, so it will be interesting to see the feud getting rekindled.
Considering Seth Rollins may have similar opinions to Drew McIntyre regarding Roman Reigns and his associates, there is also a chance the two will team up to battle Jey Uso and Sami Zayn on December 14. The company might also involve CM Punk in the feud after the brawl he had with Seth Rollins on this week's WWE RAW.
Lots of speculations but fans will have to wait for next week's episode of the red brand for answers.
