WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre has established himself as one of the best in-ring performers who doesn’t think twice before standing up to anyone. Interestingly, however, The Scottish Psychopath was recently seen getting friendly with a top member of The Bloodline. Moreover, he could have also subtly confirmed that he is in cahoots with The Rock. Here’s what the two could be cooking up together and the implications it could have.
Drew McIntyre and The Rock may want to overthrow Roman Reigns
Drew McIntyre faced OG Bloodline’s Jey Uso on the inaugural episode of WWE RAW’s Netflix era. While he lost the match via a sneaky pinfall pulled off by Mr. Yeet, which left McIntyre frustrated, he was spotted in a jovial mood with The Rock backstage later in the night.

The two men bonded over freely being able to swear since Netflix was now handling the programming. Shortly after, The Scottish Warrior was seen whispering something in the ears of The People’s Champ. Moreover, he also uploaded a video of this interaction on his official X account.
McIntyre isn’t trying to hide that he is on amicable terms with The Rock. But, this is strange since he is currently hunting down everyone in the OG Bloodline and wants to target Roman Reigns.
Thus, there’s a possibility that The Final Boss may not be on The OTC’s side despite personally putting the Ula Fala around his neck after Reigns won the Tribal Combat match against Solo Sikoa.
The Rock may not have turned babyface after all
One of the most shocking things fans saw when The Rock kicked off RAW’s Netflix premiere was his babyface turn. This was highly unexpected since The Brahma Bull had teased that he was coming after Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns during his cameo at the 2024 Bad Blood.
Thus, a sudden change of heart seemed odd. Especially when his character of The Final Boss did receive a great response from the fans and heightened the hype for WrestleMania XL. While The People’s Champ was seen hugging The American Nightmare during his segment, Drew McIntyre had also done the same last week on SmackDown.
The Scottish Warrior later revealed that he wasn’t getting on Rhodes’ good side, but just wanted to see his tattoo properly, adding that it looked even funnier from up close. Thus, there’s a chance that The Brahma Bull may not have quashed his beef with the Undisputed WWE Champion after all.
Drew McIntyre may destroy The Bloodline with The Rock
The Rock recently highlighted how much it means for him to be able to bear the title of High Chief of Samoa. Despite such a legendary honor, Roman Reigns is the man leading the faction representing the legendary Samoan pro wrestling lineage on WWE. This gives cause for chances of conflict of power between them.
While Roman Reigns has defeated Solo Sikoa, he is still in the crosshairs of Drew McIntyre, who clearly doesn’t want to see The OTC rise to power again. Thus, his friendly relations with The Rock could mean that the two may try to destroy The Bloodline and make The High Chief the highest authority with Samoan lineage in WWE.
Additionally, Drew McIntyre and The Brahma Bull could also be in cahoots with Kevin Owens, who is also intent on tearing The Bloodline down. It would be interesting to see what The Rock is cooking alongside The Scottish Psychopath in the coming days.
