Drew McIntyre defeated Sami Zayn twice before walking into WWE RAW’s Netflix premiere to face Jey Uso. However, The Scottish Warrior suffered a humiliating loss on the show.
McIntyre has been hunting down members of the OG Bloodline since his return to the ring. Zayn was the first victim in his new campaign. He was successful in overcoming the former Intercontinental Champion.
However, he lost to Jey Uso, who took him down for a three-count in a rather surprising finish. The result humiliated the man who vowed to take out the OG Bloodline and Roman Reigns.
Check out the three directions for Drew McIntyre following his unsuccessful outing on WWE RAW’s Netflix premiere.
#3. Drew McIntyre could call it quits after his humiliating loss
Drew McIntyre is one of the biggest WWE Superstars. He has been looking to have a world title run in recent years, but something or the other has held him back each time.
The Scottish Warrior returned after Survivor Series: WarGames to get back at the OG Bloodline. After going through Sami Zayn, he turned his focus to Jey Uso. The two met in their first match on Monday night.
McIntyre surprisingly lost his first match against Jey in their current rivalry. It was a major setback for the WWE star, who has been dominant through most of his career.
He could appear on next week’s RAW to call it quits after failing to get back at the OG Bloodline so early in his run. The promo could turn out to be a trick, as he could attack an unsuspecting Jey Uso soon after.
#2. Jey Uso could suffer something worse on WWE RAW's next episode
It’s still unclear whether Drew McIntyre and Jey Uso will remain on RAW or move to SmackDown soon. However, The Scottish Warrior could continue to target The YEET Master in the coming weeks.
WWE fans could see Jey celebrate his big win backstage on next week’s show. Later on, McIntyre could viciously attack him and leave him in a heap, much like he did to CM Punk during their rivalry.
This angle could see him become a bigger villain and even more dangerous, making him a bigger threat to Roman Reigns in the future.
#1. Kevin Owens could join The Scottish Warrior following his Netflix appearance
Kevin Owens made a surprise appearance during Roman Reigns’ match with Solo Sikoa on RAW’s Netflix premiere. He hit Reigns with a Stunner and then nearly took him out with a Package Piledriver.
Owens is still bitter at Reigns and the OG Bloodline, and that could see him ally with Drew McIntyre. Together, the two men will pose a bigger threat to members of the OG Bloodline.
Their alliance will especially work better against The Usos, as Jimmy and Jey could reform their tag team on-screen soon. Having Drew McIntyre join Kevin Owens would work extremely well, as the two men will stay on top heading into WWE WrestleMania 41.
