Drew McIntyre has put a target on Roman Reigns and CM Punk, naming them the real villains of WWE. He has vowed to take down anyone who ever helped The OTC such as Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn, and possibly even The Rock and Cody Rhodes.
It so happens that The Scottish Warrior's frustration doesn't only stem from what Reigns and Punk did to him in the past, but also from no one in the WWE management reaching out to him during a tough time in his life. After Bad Blood, McIntyre took time off WWE, but many believed it was to recover from the 'Hell in a Cell' match against The Second City Saint. However, the former World Heavyweight Champion revealed that he was in Scotland, mourning the passing of a close family member.
Furthermore, he revealed that only one person checked up on him during this time, but did not disclose the name. Well, given The Scottish Warrior's current obsession with destroying Roman Reigns and his allies, it's possible it was The Rock who checked up on McIntyre.

The Rock has emerged as The OTC's predator in WWE. The speculation is that The Bloodline saga's ultimate match is Roman Reigns vs. The Final Boss. If he was the one to check on McIntyre, the 39-year-old could be expressing his gratitude by weakening The Brahma Bull's future challenger.
Wrestling veteran bashed WWE for Drew McIntyre's segment on RAW
When Drew McIntyre kicked off RAW, he was supposed to be the heel in the promo. However, he narrated the tough time he endured with the personal loss, and it was a promo that should have essentially drawn sympathy from the WWE Universe.
During Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, former head writer Vince Russo explained that the promo left him in confusion.
"He absolutely was (a babyface). Drew was talking about somebody very close to me died and I got slapped across the face with a dose of reality."
Fans can expect Drew McIntyre to run interference during Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa's Tribal Combat Match on January 6th, 2024 when RAW moves to Netflix.
