What’s the story?

Drew McIntyre has taken to social media so as to send a warning to the rest of the WWE roster ahead of Monday Night RAW.

Insinuating that times are changing, McIntyre alluded that he’s ready to beat anyone on RAW.

In case you didn’t know…

McIntyre performed for the WWE from 2007 until his departure from the promotion in 2014.

While McIntyre was initially introduced by WWE boss Vince McMahon as “The Chosen One”—lauded as the next big thing in WWE—he gradually got relegated to the status of an enhancement talent in WWE, before his promotional departure.

The heart of the matter

One ought to note that McIntyre went on to achieve considerable success on the independent professional wrestling circuit from 2014 onwards, before returning to WWE last year.

McIntyre then won the NXT Championship, before losing it to Andrade “Cien” Almas last November, following which he found himself on the sidelines due to a torn bicep.

Regardless, McIntyre made his on-screen WWE return on this week’s episode of RAW; as an ally for Dolph Ziggler. McIntyre addressed his comeback, with his tweet stating—

“The times they are a changing. Can’t say I didn’t give advanced warning...If you are not on my level, I will eat you alive #WWERaw”

What’s next?

The vast majority of professional wrestling experts believe that WWE management are incredibly high on McIntyre, and view him as a top-shelf Superstar for the company moving forward.

Fans can expect McIntyre to perform as an ally for Ziggler in the days to come on Monday Night RAW.

Kudos to McIntyre for completely reinventing himself after parting ways with the WWE back in 2014.

McIntyre seems to have ascended to a greater level of fitness and is without a doubt one of the best athletes in WWE today.
