#10. G.I. Joe Retaliation
G.I Joe Retaliation was the second part of the G.I Joe movie series based on Hasbro's G.I Joe toys. The film released in 2013 and was a big success in the box movies.
Dwayne Johnson plays the role of a G.I Joe enforcer named Roadblock who initially works under Duke (played by Channing Tatum). However, as the plot of the movie moves forward, Johnson becomes the lead in the movie and heads a very small team with the help of Bruce Willis who plays the role of General Joseph Colton.
The movie has some cutthroat action sequences and Johnson does justice to his role thanks to his immense physique.

As the name suggests, the movie is based on the famous Greek hero by the same name. He is the son of the God, Zeus, and a mortal woman. The plot of the movie centers on an earthquake caused by the San Andreas fault which ultimately destroys Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area. Johnson plays the role of a divorced man who tries to protect his daughter and estranged wife from harm's way.

Hugo Johnstone-Burt plays the role of an English engineer who is Johnson's daughter's love affair and also a major supporting cast in the film.
The CGA and some of the action sequences in the movie is quite breathtaking and adds to the intensity of the movie.

Central Intelligence is an action comedy movie starring Johnson and the popular Kevin Hart. The movie starts when both Johnson and Hart were in high school. Hart was the popular guy in school while Johnson was a fat kid who was the center of practical jokes and was picked on by bullies.
During the high school days, a group of bullies throw a naked Johnson into an assembly full of students and everyone laughs at him except for Hart and he helps Johnson cover his modesty by offering his varsity jacket.
Years later, Hart is unhappy with his job as an accountant, but his boring life takes a big turn after he gets a friend request on facebook from a guy named Bob Stone who later turns out to be Johnson. Johnson has now lost his weight and is in great shape and starts to hang out with Hart. The plot of the movie later reveals that Johnson is a rogue CIA agent who is using Hart to get his hands on some satellite codes.
The movie has some good comedy and action scenes and will give you plenty of moments to rejoice.
#6. Faster
Faster is a 2010 action movie starring Dwayne Johnson in the lead role. Johnson plays the role of James Cullen or Driver who has just come out of prison after serving a 10-year sentence. Upon his release, Driver is asked to lead a better life but he immediately recovers his Chevelle LS5 SS and proceeds to kill a man.
Johnson wants to avenge the death of his brother and the movie's plot revolves around this. While Johnson tries to get his revenge, he is being tracked down by a detective Cicero and a cop who is on the verge of retirement.
Driver has a list of names that he wants to kill while he is being tracked down and this leads to an interesting and action packed storyline that promises to keep you at the edge of your seats.
#5. Pain & Gain
The film is loosely based on a story published in 1999 by Miami New Times and compiled in the book Pain & Gain: This is a true story which talks about kidnapping, extortion, torture and murder of several victims by three body builders from Sun Gym.
The movie received mixed reviews mainly due to the historical inaccuracies and violence, but the comedy and action in the movie were entertaining nevertheless.
Johnson plays a supporting role in the movie and was praised for his performance and did justice to his role as a bodybuilder.
#4. Snitch
Snitch is yet another action packed Dwayne Johnson movie. Johnson plays the role of a construction company owner named John Mathews. His son, played by Rafi Gavron, does not have a good relationship with his dad and gets involved with moving drugs because of his friend.
Johnson's son is caught in possession of the drugs by the DEA and is apprehended by them. Johnson is made aware of the situation by his ex-wife and it is later revealed that his son will be serving a jail term of 10 years for his crime.
Johnson uses his connections to strike a deal where he will infiltrate a drug cartel after going undercover in return for his son's freedom. The rest of the movie shows the troubles he goes through to save his son.

Rundown is one of Dwayne Johnson's early movies. The movie was directed by Peter Berg and released in 2003, a year after the release of 'The Scorpion King'. The movie is also known as 'Welcome to the Jungle'.
Johnson plays the role of a Bounty Hunter, Beck, who travels to Brazil to retrieve his boss's renegade son whose character is played by Sean William Scott of American Pie fame.
Sean William Scott's character is named Travis and he is an archeology student. Beck soon finds himself in the middle of a race to find a priceless artifact which puts the duo at odds with a mine owner. The relationship between Beck and Travis also gives the movie an interesting angle.
The movie received positive reviews but flopped at the box office.

This series needs no introduction. The famous Fast and Furious series has seven installments so far and Dwayne Johnson has featured in three of them. He plays the role of security service agent, Luke Hobbs, who can be labeled as the best bounty hunter on the planet.
Producer, Vin Diesel, and director, Justin Lin, got the idea to cast Johnson in the movie after seeing a fan’s comment on Diesel's Facebook page. Therefore, they redesigned the character to fit Johnson's persona and Johnson also went through intense physical training to look like a credible threat for the film's main protagonists.
His first appearance in the series came in Fast 5 where he is seen hunting down the original gang from the prequels and in the later editions, he assists the gang in several ways.
Johnson was a perfect fit for the Fast and Furious series and he did justice to the faith Vin Diesel showed in him.

Gridiron Gang is a movie you will enjoy if you are a Dwayne Johnson fan or if you are a sports fanatic. The movie is loosely based on the true story of Kilpatrick Mustangs from the 1990 season.
Directed by Phil Joanou, the movie released in 2006 and was met with mixed reviews. However, Dwayne Johnson was heaped with praises for his portrayal of probation officer Sean Porter. This again emphasizes the acting skills possessed by the WWE superstar.
Johnson is a counselor at a juvenile detention facility and hopes to make a football team using the young inmates in the prison. He believes that this will help in raising the self-worth of the inmates at the facility. However, his plan is not received well by high school coaches and Johnson faces several other hurdles along the way due to the animosity between the players.
These situations make an interesting plot and being a sports movie, it gives an amazing adrenaline rush. This is a must watch movie for all Dwayne Johnson fans.
