According to Movieweb.com, Hollywood director Peter Berg is currently working on a sequel to the 2003 thriller flick The Rundown starring WWE superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Berg said that he really wants to do the sequel when asked if he was tired of people asking him about the same.
“We just met with writers, so we’re trying to do it. I really want to do it. I’ve talked to Dwayne. I have an actor in mind that I can’t say that I want to work with Dwayne on it, and we want to do it. Yeah, we’re meeting with writers now,” he said.
The Rundown was written by R.J Stewart and also starred American Pie fame Seann William Scott along with The Rock. The film holds an IMDB rating of 6.6 and was a commercial success.
